From 29 August to 1 September 2026, Imperia hosted the “2026 ITMA World Championship” as part of the Imperia International Sailing Week.

This prestigious World Championship dedicated to the International Twelve Metre class brought the iconic 12 Metres back to the Ligurian capital, competing in the waters of the Gulf of Imperia in a top-level international event.
